Stand Up 4 U!











Stand Up 4 U is a free DVD for young women on the early signs of potentially abusive relationships. It demonstrates behaviour which is controlling, isolating and undermines confidence.


The DVD aims to raise awareness of the need to develop healthy relationships. It also provides details about where young women can get more information and support if they need it.
The DVD has been designed for young women to watch on their own or in a group. It is also designed to be used as a resource by teachers, youth workers and other professionals working with young women.

  3. Hi Kellie - welcome aboard! Yes I have just ordered 2 copies tonight. I am looking forward to trying it out with a group - be great to use for mixed groups too I think.
    Lud - it would certainly make a good project with a group - to make a resource like this! It would need the assistance of an animator of course - or use real people! When I worked for Mission Australia we partnered with TSS and a group of YP and produced adverts to go into the Get Reel competition - a comp to air on TV a drug community announcement ad. It was an Absolutely fabulous and creative way of exploring the issue of drugs and alcohol.
    I will email these guys and try and get thw low down on how they went about it, $$ etc.
