I have recently been using a resource that I think is great when working with young men and women with an intellectual disability. But is also a great resource to use with any young audience that needs accurate information in a realistic but non threatening way. The resource is a DVD called 'The New Guide To Relationships and Sex' produced by
Life Support Productions in the UK.
This is a dvd using avatars to explore 5 main areas:
- Growing Up
- Looking after yourself
- Sex
- Pregnancy
- Help and Advice
